• DOD Approved Data Removal - Per DoD Milspec 5220.22-M
(triple overwriting of hard disk) allowing client re-use
of hard disk.
• Degaussing - A strong magnetic field sets all
the data on the hard disk to zero.
• Physical Destruction - Crushing and shredding
or drilling of the hard disk on your site or our site.
• Certificate of Asset Destruction

this area is now available for data. Using the undelete
command the data is easily available.
• Using the format command will make the data unrecoverable.
False. There are many types of format

command usually creates a blank index, making it appear
as though the hard disk is blank.
